Circet UK are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in either Slough or Exeter office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*         Assist with the preparation of AFPs for Altnet contracts.

*         To assist with cost control on contracts, ensuring all subcontractor and DL claims are correct and allocated to the correct jobs and projects.

*         Assisting with preparation of final accounts and retentions

*         Assisting with interim supplier account reconciliation

*         Liaise with subcontractors on the interim accounts.

*         Operational link to help progress work

*         Any other commercial task that arises

*         Support for any other member of the team

*         Monitoring, control, preparation and agreement of EWs and CEs on Altnet contracts

 

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

 

*         Ability to make site documents to assist with costing.

*         Ability to review and understand drawings.

*         Good relationship building

*         Strong math and number skills

*         Excellent attention to detail

*         Analytical thinking skills

*         Understanding of engineering and technology

*         Knowledge of building and construction

*         Effective Communication skills including an excellent telephone manner
