Circet Wireless are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join our growing team

Main Duties:

 

  • Drawing Creation: Create drawings according to company and client specifications using AutoCAD to create site specific telecoms site designs.
  • CAD Tools Utilisation: Use templates, CAD blocks, and customised routines to enhance efficiency.
  • Workload Management: Organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and forecasts.
  • Collaboration: Assist other CAD Technicians, Design Lead, and Design Engineers in developing design solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Check your own drawings for accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Library Maintenance: Help maintain and update the Design Standard Drawing Library.
  • Process Improvement: Generate ideas to reduce drafting time and improve quality, including simplifying processes.

Knowledge requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Able to liaise and maintain good relationships with local authorities and 3rd parties
  • Good organisational, time management and communication skills
  • Able to work proactively, accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in a high turnover/fast paced environment as part of a team but also independently (with ability to work from home)
  • PC literate/good knowledge of Excel & Outlook
  • Must be a team player
