We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Project Manager to join our Circet team!

Responsibilities

  • To promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects
  • Managing the project in all aspects including health & safety, programming, technical, quality, commercial
  • Responsible for supervising and managing sub-contractors
  • Ensure the company’s image and profile at site level is professional
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with company health & safety policy on all sites under control
  • Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works adopting a Right First Time culture
  • Plan and schedule the works and manage the construction programme
  • Ensure Traffic Management arrangements are in accordance with the relevant traffic management plans
  • Managing all aspects of the works on site on a daily basis
  • Setting out all elements of works including road alignments and service installations
  • Surveying constructed works for as-built drawings
  • Monitoring and recording progress on site and assisting in updating the works programme
  • Management of material deliveries on site and checking quality of materials
  • Supervising sub-contractors works on site
  • Identify and record additional works and work closely with the project QS to prepare costs
  • Client interface with the Employer on a daily basis
  • Attend regular site meetings with construction team, design team and client
  • Maintaining daily site records and testing records
Knowledge Requirements:
  • Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience
  • Proficient in use of setting out equipment – GPS, robotic total station, levelling equipment
  • Experience working with AutoCAD
  • Experience working with programming soft
  • Good commercial and contract awareness
  • Experience of roadworks and utility installations
  • Experience in quality control of engineering materials on site
  • Ability to maintain high levels of health, safety & quality on site
  • Ability to manage sub-contractors
  • Knowledge of relevant roadworks specifications
  • Good communication skills
