Circet UK are looking for a Design Technician to join our Wireless division.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with internal and external design suppliers to develop successful, buildable designs.

  • To produce full GA, DD and As-built drawings sets in line with the requirement of MBNL and CTIL standards/specifications

  • Help maintain library of AutoCAD Blocks and Templates

  • Support Design Team in the delivery of high quality, accurate project documentation

  • Keep all internal and client systems up to date ensuring all work & milestone details are captured

  • Appraise documents and information to ensure compliance with relevant client design guides.

  • Assist in the development and preparation of detailed designs and construction stage drawings to translate calculations into buildable and safe solutions

  • Undertake other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility

 

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

 

  • Telecoms engineering background ideal but not essential

  • Engineering related qualification desirable - Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent + experience

  • CAD qualification – City and Guilds or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in developing practical and safe designs and details for inclusion in construction stage drawings.

* Ability to review and analyse data effectively and efficiently

  • Ability to advise, influence and support.

  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation ability.

  • Build co-operative working relationships and encourage involvement of all parties in the shaping and development of the organisation in a fast changing, highly prioritised environment.
