Circet are hiring for a Head of Engagement to support the Group in Ireland & UK.
You will lead the design and delivery of Circet’s employee engagement strategy across the business (UK & Ireland). This role is pivotal in building a strong sense of belonging, driving culture, and amplifying leadership messaging to ensure employees are informed, inspired, and engaged within the Group’s vision and values.
A key priority for this role is to strengthen employee retention, with a particular focus on frontline and field-based teams, ensuring that every employee - regardless of location or role - feels valued, heard, and part of Circet’s strategy and future. The role will champion people manager excellence, require a holistic engagement approach, and work collaboratively with business and operational stakeholders to drive cultural cohesion across diverse regions.

Responsibilities of Head of Engagement:
1. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and execute a Group-wide engagement strategy aligned to business priorities, culture, and people plans
- Partner with senior stakeholders to connect people to the company’s strategy, ensuring all employees understand their role in delivering operational success
- Champion people manager standards by equipping leaders at all levels - including frontline supervisors - with the skills and confidence to communicate effectively
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and operational leaders, promoting authentic, transparent, and two-way communication
- Build Circet’s internal communications function as a strategic driver of engagement and retention, not just a delivery channel.
2. Employee Engagement, Culture & Retention
- Lead Group-wide engagement initiatives that strengthen belonging, connection, and pride, with a strong emphasis on retaining field and operational teams who are critical to service delivery
- Partner with HR and Operations to embed employee listening frameworks and ensure insights from field teams drive action and change
- Collaborate with operational leaders to design targeted engagement programs that respond to the specific needs and realities of field-based employees
- Promote a culture of recognition, inclusion, and shared purpose, ensuring field teams feel valued and connected to leadership and strategy
- Support change and transformation programs with clear, empathetic, and accessible communications, building trust across all levels of the business.
3. Channel & Content Leadership
- Work closely with the communication and marketing team to maximise effectiveness of internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage, Teams, Roadshows) to ensure accessibility for field-based and non-desk employees
- Curate and deliver compelling content that brings Circet’s purpose and strategy to life - highlighting stories from frontline operations to executive leadership
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure internal events and leadership communications resonate across all employee groups, including operational teams.
4. Measurement, Impact & Continuous Improvement
- Develop clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure engagement impact, and retention outcomes, with specific indicators for field teams
- Use data and insights to inform strategy, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in communications and engagement
- Ensure alignment with Circet’s brand, compliance, ESG principles, and culture commitments
- Translate insight into targeted action plans that improve retention and strengthen engagement in field and operational environments.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide engagement strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to promote transparent, two-way dialogue.
- Expertise in designing engagement programs for field-based teams.
- Skilled in managing internal communication channels and creating compelling content.
- Strong analytical skills to define KPIs, measure impact, and report outcomes.
- Knowledge of compliance, ESG principles, and brand alignment in communications.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to communicate with empathy during change.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across HR, Operations, and Communications.
