Circet Ireland are currently seeking applications for Head of Operations roles in Ireland.
Location: Dublin and Letterkenny

As Head of Operations you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of various telecom projects, including labour, transport, plant, HSEQ. You will lead an Operational team, delivering improvements in operations, ensuring project key performance metrics at met, and within budget. You will be responsible for ensuring the projects are operated safely and efficiently, and meet the companies goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations: Lead and manage all operational functions across multiple telecom projects. Ensure all projects are undertaken safely, on time, within scope, on budget.
Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety, quality and environmental standards and company and client policies and procedures.
Finance: Ensure that all operations meet forecast and business plans. Responsible for profit and loss management ensuring financial targets are met. Ensure financial control and management of projects through their life cycle, including Financial Work In Progress.
Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Resource Planning: Ensure projects are adequately resourced with the relevant skilled resource to meet key performance indicators.
Stakeholder management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and milestones.
Technology: Identify opportunities for, and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Required Key Skills and experience 
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in a leadership operational management role.
  • Experience in the utilities/construction industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experienced in operational functions, finance management, productivity management, employee management and customer service.
  • Ability to streamline and/or implement structures and roles for efficiency and productivity.
  • Project planning, ability to forecast current capacity against works in the pipeline, analysing recruitment and/or upskilling requirements.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience of managing business plans and financial performance.
  • Prompt and directing all departments to ensure projects are delivered on Programme and Budget
  • Provide reports/presentations to Stakeholders on items such as; delivery to project and financial targets, HSEQ, KPIs.  
  • Identify requirement for and implementing resource plans and training requirements to achieve KPI’s.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experienced with working across several projects directing and holding full responsibility.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated team player with good people skills
 
Preferred Key Skills and experience 

Bachelors degree in Business Management, Operations Management or equivalent managerial experience at a senior level.
