Job Description:
- Ensure that all HSQE obligations are met and that appropriate resources are available to ensure that all Health & Safety obligations are met.
- Efficiently and effectively support the ‘day to day’ operations of the HSEQ director
- Mange and safely deliver specific projects identified by the HSEQ director or the business across all contracts.
- Develop and facilitate SMT meetings on a Quarterly basis to support the contracts and ensure alignment across the business.
- Provide visible leadership across assigned projects, ensuring HSEQ values are embedded throughout all contracts.
- Advise and support Contracts Managers, Project Managers and their teams on statutory and project specific requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant HSEQ legislation, company procedures & client standards.
- Development and implementation of health and safety strategies that align with Circet goals and strategies
- Support the development of the EHS team, focusing on professional growth, technical competence and alignment with functional and Circet goals and expectations.
- Ownership of key reporting requirements to multiple stakeholders including our Leadership Team and Board.
- Engage with relevant external bodies, stakeholders and peers to ensure that there is a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Represent the Circet on industry committees and other groups, and liaise with various representative bodies, membership organisations in relation to Health and Safety
- Manage the methodology to deliver RAMS, Subcontractor inductions via Skillko
- Review PQQ regularly to ensure they are company compliant and reflect our expectations
- Support upcoming projects like BBS, etc
- Assess trends from output in Assure
- Review and assess Accident / incident procedures.
Skills & Experience required:
- NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
- Degree qualified or equivalent.
- Extensive experience within a civil engineering, utilities or telecommunications environment.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
- CSCS Card.
