Circet Northern Ireland are looking for a Plant Operator to join our team.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor and Senior Operations Manager, the Plant Operator is responsible for the operation of plant and machinery to enable the building and maintaining of network infrastructure for NIE. Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Comply with Site Supervisor instructions and contents of the Permit to Work
- Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles where required
- Ensure all issued works are completed defect free.
- Ensure all excavations are properly backfilled and compacted to remove the possibility of any defects developing.
- Ensure all work areas are reinstated to an acceptable standard before leaving site
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Client standards and specification.
- Undertaking works in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, company and client Health and Safety standards
- Report all accidents / incidents/ near misses / dangerous occurrences to the supervisor and support the investigation and management if required.
Complete updates and submit construction clearance documentation as required.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Self-motivated, achievement orientated and be able to stay calm in pressure situations
- Computer literate and the ability to use a tablet device
- CSCS Card
- Cat Genny training
- Have a full licence (HGV Class 2 licence)
