About the role:
Circet UK is seeking a highly organised and proactive Programmer/Coordinator to support the delivery of fibre optic infrastructure within our DL Poling Department. Working closely with the Project Coordinator and field teams, you will play a key role in coordinating resources, managing documentation, and maintaining clear communication to keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities of Programmer / Coordinator:
- Assist the Project Coordinator to ensure estimates are programmed and managed daily
- Manage documentation and ensure accurate tracking of permits, TM requests, reports, and compliance files
- Ensure Safe Dig prints are in date
- Maintain project tracking systems including spreadsheets, and status dashboards
- Facilitate communication between field teams, internal departments and contractors
- Help ensure projects meet Health & Safety, Streetworks and internal quality standards
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to keep operations running efficiently
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- 1–2 years in a project support, admin, or coordination role ideally in poling telecoms or experience as a in field poler
- Familiarity with programming works and managing documentation in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and shared document systems
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to prioritise effectively
- Flexible, willing to learn, and eager to grow with the role
