Circet UK are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Wireless division.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*         Reviewing site drawings and attending site MSVs to understand scope of

           works

*         Preparing site tenders and contract documents for cost submission (schedule

           of rates)

*         Be able to confidently negotiate costs with client QS

*         Work with project teams to prepare budget spend & anticipated margins.

*         Competitive subcontractor tendering / auditing costs from suppliers

*         Work closely with project team to ensure variations are being captured during

build.

*         Sign off, submit and negotiate final accounts with client QS.

*         Report on site / project Profit and Loss. Post works cost analysis

 

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

*         Ability to make site documents to assist with costing.

*         Ability to review and understand drawings.

*         Good relationship building

*         Strong math and number skills

*         Excellent attention to detail

*         Analytical thinking skills

*         Understanding of engineering and technology

*         Knowledge of building and construction

*         Effective Communication skills including an excellent telephone manner

*         Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and specific in-house software e.g.

SiteLive)
