Circet Uk are looking for a  Safety, Quality & Training Assessor who will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and training across all Circet Installs (UK) operations.

 

The successful candidate will conduct daily, live, and post safety and quality audits, provide in-field training and coaching, and lead investigations into adverse events such as service/utility strikes, non-compliance, or RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases, and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) accidents/incidents. This position requires experience in the Openreach network and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of HSEQT across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

*       Deliver the development and oversee the implementation of Circet (UK)'s HSEQT management systems.

*       Support the growth and adaptation of Circet (UK)'s culture as the organization rapidly expands and evolves.

*       Provide competent advice on HSEQT matters to all levels of the company, ensuring compliance with legal obligations.

*       Develop and instigate HSEQT initiatives aimed at continuous improvement across the business.

*       Conduct daily, live, and post-project safety and quality audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

*       Ensure that all Circet (UK) worksites are fully compliant with legal HSEQ obligations.

*       Review and update all HSEQT documentation regularly to ensure relevance and accuracy.

*       Lead investigations into adverse events such as service/utility strikes, non-compliance issues, or RIDDOR accidents/incidents.

*       Prepare detailed reports with findings, root cause analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions.

*       Assess employees’ skills, talents, performance, and productivity, completing evaluations on LearnUpon with advice for improvement.

*       Assist in developing and delivering Installs training programs tailored to specific client needs.

*       Oversee training in all key areas of site-based operations, ensuring that employees are equipped to work safely and efficiently.

*       Provide in-field training and coaching to ensure that safety and quality standards are met during live operations.

*       Promote and enforce a ‘Right Time First Time’ culture across the business to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

*       Provide in-field guidance to align with the ‘Choices’ campaign.

*       Work with Senior Managers to develop and implement HSEQ targets and objectives aimed at continual improvement.

*       Monitor progress against targets and drive initiatives that lead to better safety, quality, and training outcomes.

 

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

*       SmartAwards compliance.

*       Experience with the Openreach Fibre and Copper network.

*       Experience in telecommunications.

*       Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.

*       Effective communication and reporting skills.

*       Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.
