Senior Jeopardy Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the aging of work-in-progress orders within the organisation. They will develop and implement strategies to minimize the accumulation of aged WIP, ensure timely completion of closing job packs. The Aged WIP Manager will collaborate with various teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency to reduce the financial impact of aged WIP on the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse the aging of work-in-progress items across various projects and departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce the accumulation of aged WIP, including process improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to identify root causes of aged WIP and implement corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain clear guidelines and policies for managing WIP aging, including escalation procedures for overdue items.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of aged WIP, highlighting areas of concern and proposed solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and system improvements to streamline WIP management processes.
  • Train and educate staff on WIP management best practices and procedures.
     

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable.

  • Proven experience in  related field, with a focus on WIP management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, root causes, and potential solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading process improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques related to WIP management.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new strategies and technologies.

  • Full Driving licence is required as this role will require driving
