Circet UK are looking for Streetworks Compliance Assistant to join our team in Indian Queens.

To provide support to the management of fines and defects received from the Highway Authorities in accordance with NRSWA 1991 and TMA 2004, raising necessary permits/notices and maintaining trackers. Carry out such other duties as are consistent with the job-holder’s knowledge and skills and are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or for attainment of the goals of the business.


 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and investigate NRSWA/TMA fines
  • Process and investigate NRSWA/TMA defects received
  • Process and investigate Section 74 overrun warnings
  • Housekeeping of NRSWA/TMA system
  • Raising and administering NRSWA notices and permits in relation to fines, defects and interim reinstatements
  • Liaising with Local Authorities, internal staff and third parties
  • Monitor notices/permits to ensure compliance
  • Keeping up to date trackers, records and reports
 
General Duties:
•       To have a duty of care to yourself and others regarding Health and Safety issues and ensure that the company’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures are implemented.
•       Adhere to the Company’s Data Protection Policy and Procedure and ensure private and confidential data is kept secure and disposed of in the appropriate manner.

Preferable Experience:
  • 2 years + experience in NRSWA/TMA/EToN
  • Able to liaise and maintain good relationships with local authorities and 3rd parties
  • Good organisational, time management and communication skills.
  • Able to work proactively, accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • PC literate/good knowledge of Excel & Outlook  Must be a team worker
Health & Safety Compliance:
  Monitor site practices and routines to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the company H & S Policy, to minimise the likelihood of accidents and the resulting fines and compensation claims. Ensure training needs are identified and, in conjunction with HSEQ Department, arrange for personnel to attend such courses as are necessary.
