Circet UK is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Telecommunications Electrician to join our Wireless Division. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in the telecommunications and electrical industry, gaining hands-on experience while completing a structured training programme. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to help deliver telecoms infrastructure projects that keep communities connected across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and testing of telecoms electrical systems.
  • Learn how to safely isolate electrical equipment and understand workplace safety procedures.
  • Assist with cabling, containment installation, and connection of power systems to telecoms equipment.
  • Gain knowledge of electrical standards, labelling, and documentation requirements.
  • Participate in site setup and shutdown, ensuring compliance with safety and client standards.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles organised and in good working order.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the completion of site forms and certifications.
  • Work closely with your mentor to develop your skills and complete on-the-job learning tasks.

What You’ll Need

Experience
  • No prior experience required – full training and mentoring will be provided.
  • A genuine interest in telecommunications and electrical work.

Skills & Attributes
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and a proactive attitude to learning.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights (full training and PPE provided).
  • Team player who can follow instructions and work safely at all times.

Qualifications
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence or be working towards obtaining one.
