We are hiring!
Circet are now recruiting for our 24-month apprenticeship programme in Telecommunications & Data Network Engineering, commencing in October 2025.
This structured two-year programme combines on-the-job learning, one-to-one coaching, and formal classroom training. Over the lifetime of the apprenticeship, a total of eight blocks, each of two weeks duration, will be spent attending class and practical laboratories in TU Dublin (Tallaght).
Working under the supervision and guidance of some of the most experienced professionals in the country, apprentices will learn the skills required to have a successful career at Circet.
Applications will close on Monday 1st September 2025.

Who is the programme suited to?
People seeking skilled employment often face a challenge that relevant work experience is a prerequisite for many jobs. But for many people, including school leavers, it is difficult to gain the required experience without being in the workplace.
An apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for entry or advancement into a particular skilled career field. This two-year programme was developed in collaboration with the telecommunications industry and is designed to take a low skills entry-level position to full occupational proficiency.

Qualification after 2 years completion:
Higher Certificate in Engineering in Telecommunications & Data Network Engineering (Level 6)
At the completion of the new Apprenticeship Programme, the apprentice will receive a QQI accredited Higher Certificate in Telecommunications & Data Network Engineering, which is a nationally recognized qualification. This award will ensure that the holder has proficiency as a Field Technician in the discipline.

Entry Requirements:
  • Applicants must hold a Leaving Certificate with a minimum of Grade O6/H7 or better in 5 subjects, including English or Irish and Mathematics. A Pass in Foundation Level Irish (F3) is acceptable for this course. Alternatively, an applicant can hold a level of qualification which is deemed equivalent to the requirements in the Leaving Cert.
  • Mature candidates (23 years if age or older) as of 1st January 2025 are eligible to apply if they meet the academic or alternative qualification requirements noted. Evidence of this will be required.
  • All Apprentices must pass the Ishihara Colour Vision Test (24 Plate Edition).
  • Full Clean Manual Drivers Licence (provisional not accepted)
  • Must have own transportation and be able to get to TUD Tallaght in Dublin
