Join Circet UK – Leading the Future of Fibre & Telecoms Delivery
Circet UK is looking for an experienced and motivated Civils Supervisor to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in managing telecoms infrastructure build and maintenance activities — ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across all field operations.
Working closely with field teams and project managers, you’ll be responsible for site audits, coaching operatives, and driving a “Right First Time” culture across civils and cabling delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage civils and cabling works on telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contracts.
- Conduct in-progress and retrospective site audits and safety inspections.
- Carry out daily toolbox talks, Safe to Start checks, and site compliance reviews.
- Survey work areas, mark existing services, and ensure all permits and notices are valid.
- Coach and mentor field operatives to improve compliance with NRSWA standards.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and promote continuous improvement.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through regular site meetings and reporting.
- Maintain accurate daily records of progress, challenges, and outputs.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, or quality issues — ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Support the rollout of new ways of working, including handheld technology and production-focused delivery.
What You’ll Need
- Strong understanding of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH).
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation (essential).
- Proven experience in telecoms civils works — including reinstatement, excavation, and cabling.
- Sound understanding of permit schemes, noticing requirements, and site compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines.
- IT literacy for reporting, communication, and compliance management.
- Professional, self-motivated, and safety-driven approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
