Circet UK are looking for an experienced Depot Manager to join the Group.


As Depot Manager, will be responsible for the day to day running & control of the warehouse and all stores both in the yard and the warehouse. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of all owned & hired plant as instructed by your Line Manager where applicable.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Upkeep and cleanliness / tidiness of warehouse & yard (ensure all stores, plant & machinery are stored and parked safely in conjunction with current H & S legislation).
  • Certain maintenance duties in relation to offices on and off site.
  • Any driving duties as requested by Line Manager.
  • Ability to drive forklift (relevant training certification will be an advantage however training can be provided).
  • Compliant with relevant transport and warehousing procedures.
  • Compile reports when required on stock levels etc.
  • Using and imputing in house stock management system allocation reports on stores and materials issued, materials received, live-stock auditing (job numbers, site references etc.)
  • Stores returns to client.
  • Inventory upkeep.
  • Maintain a safe working environment within the facilities.

Knowledge requirements:
 
  • Previous experience of working in warehouse operations.
  • Proven track record of people management.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Knowledge of plant and vehicle maintenance.
  • Process management for stock allocation and distribution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent Time management skills
  • Understand the challenges and be able to problem solve, quickly and effectively to adhere to the strict timescales within the operations.
