Position: DL Operational Team Lead
Reporting to: Contracts Manager
Location: Dublin Predominantly (Some projects may be nationwide)
Circet Ireland are looking for an experienced Civils team Manager with knowledge of civils and cabling activities on telecom infrastructure maintenance contracts.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, your role as Civils team Manager is to lead the delivery of quilty civils works with primary focus on health and safety across Direct Civils crews
Responsibilities
- To promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects
- Managing all aspects of crew needs from Plant to transport
- Ensure the company’s image and profile at site level is professional
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with company health & safety policy on all sites under control
- Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works adopting a Right First Time culture
- Working with the PMO to insure all crew have full and fluid work stacks
- Ensure Traffic Management arrangements are in accordance with the relevant traffic management plans
- Monitoring and recording progress of all works daily insure correct codes are completed and Jobs Closed
- Management of material deliveries on site and checking quality of materials
- Attend regular site meetings with teams to insure all is been correctly
Knowledge Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Good commercial and contract awareness
- Experience of roadworks and utility installations
- Experience in quality control of engineering materials on site
- Ability to maintain high levels of health, safety & quality on site
- Ability to manage sub-contractors
- Knowledge of relevant roadworks specifications
- Good communication skills
