We’re Hiring – Fleet & Assets Coordinator

Circet UK is looking for a Fleet & Assets Coordinator to join our Wireless division. This role is key to ensuring the effective management, compliance, and performance of our fleet vehicles and operational assets, supporting our teams to work safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

The Fleet & Assets Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of fleet vehicles and equipment, including acquisition, maintenance, compliance, and disposal. You will work closely with suppliers, operational teams, and senior management to ensure assets are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking for all fleet assets, including vehicles and heavy equipment
  • Ensure asset data is up to date across internal systems
Maintenance & Repairs
  • Schedule and coordinate servicing, inspections, MOTs, and repairs
  • Minimise vehicle and equipment downtime through proactive planning
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with operator licence requirements, tax, insurance, MOTs, ULEZ, and driving regulations
  • Support adherence to health & safety standards and company policies
Procurement & Disposal
  • Specify, procure, and dispose of fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Liaise with and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value
Budget & Cost Control
  • Manage operational and capital expenditure related to fleet and assets
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
Driver Management
  • Validate driver licences and ensure appropriate training is in place
  • Monitor performance, attendance, and address fleet-related issues
Efficiency & Reporting
  • Support route optimisation, fuel efficiency initiatives, and performance reporting
  • Provide accurate data and reports to senior management

Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of fleet maintenance and statutory/regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing fleet assets and compliance
  • Ability to analyse data and produce performance reports
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in urgent or reactive situations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
