The Role

 

The role of HR Business Partner, reporting to the Head of HR (UK), plays a crucial role in aligning human resources functions with the strategic objectives of Circet. This role involves collaborating closely with senior leadership, managers, and employees to provide comprehensive HR solutions that drive employee engagement, enhance organizational performance, and foster a positive work culture. The HRBP acts as a consultant, advisor, and advocate, ensuring that HR initiatives support the overall business goals.

 

Successful candidate will be required to support our network of offices with regular face to face visibility to attend our offices in:

     - Slough (ideal base for role, 4 days a week but would consider less if doing 0.8 FTE)

     - East Kilbride

     - Hartlebury

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 

- Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business goals, objectives, and challenges, and translate them into actionable HR strategies.

- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning to ensure the organization's future success.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and facilitate conflict resolution, aiming to maintain a positive work environment.

- Identify training and development needs across the organization and work with Learning and Development teams to design and deliver relevant programs.

- Support managers in creating individual development plans for employees to enhance their skills and contribute to their career growth

- Partner with managers to establish performance management processes, including goal setting, regular check-ins, and performance reviews.

- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on handling performance issues and recognizing top performers.

- Assist in implementing organizational changes, such as restructures, mergers, and acquisitions, by communicating effectively, managing employee concerns, and ensuring a smooth transition.

- Assist in designing and implementing employee benefit programs that align with the organization's overall rewards strategy.

- Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace by partnering with leadership to develop initiatives that foster a culture of belonging and respect.

- Utilize HR metrics and data to identify trends, highlight areas for improvement, and develop data-driven strategies.

- Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for senior management, showcasing key insights and recommendations.

 

Qualifications, knowledge, and skills required:

 

- Current holds or prepared to Study for CIPD Level 3 or 5 or equivalent HR certification is a plus.

- Proven experience (2+ years) in a HR function, at Advisor or Co-ordinator level would be an advantage

- Good understanding of key HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations and ability to maintain knowledge to reflect ongoing change.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to apply problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

- Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making.

- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
