We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal Team in our head office in Dublin 22.
 
This role represents an exciting opportunity to enjoy a broad range of work and provide support to the Legal Director for UK & Ireland. The individual will work closely with colleagues across different departments within the Circet Group across the UK and Ireland.
 
This role offers hybrid working with work from home twice a week and in the office three days per week.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
  • Support, develop and monitor compliance with data protection including conducting DPIAs and managing subject access requests.
  • Helping to implement training, policies and procedures.
  • Central management of legal database.
  • Assist with the management of litigation/disputes.
  • Conduct legal research regarding business decisions and operations.
  • Broader ongoing support on company secretarial and compliance issues.

Skills and Experience:
 
  • Must be a professionally qualified lawyer – qualified to practice law in Ireland (mandatory) and with a minimum 1-year post-qualification experience in commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge of GDPR related issues/ Data Protection qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess legal risks and provide practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, efficiency, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the capability to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
