Circet UK are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in East Kilbride.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time for both direct labour and subcontractor staff.
  • Ensure all payroll data, including timesheets, overtime, bonuses and deductions, are correctly inputted and approved.
  • Maintain and update employee records in accordance with GDPR and company policy.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of PAYE, National Insurance and pension contributions.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide payroll reports to management and support financial month-end processes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee onboarding, leaver processing and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support the Payroll Manager with audits, year-end reporting and process improvements.
  • Any other ad hoc payroll or administrative duties as required.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll systems (experience with Sage or similar desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
