Circet UK are looking for a Permit Team Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities of Permit Coordinator:
  • Administer planned and emergency street works notices/permits
  • Liaise with Local Authorities, in-house TM staff, and other third parties
  • Submit permits and TTROs in a timely manner across England and Scotland networks
  • Coordinate additional permit requirements (e.g., parking suspensions, bus stop suspensions, road closures)
  • Produce high-quality, detailed traffic management plans
  • Work proactively and accurately under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Maintain positive relationships with local authorities and third parties
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSEQ standards, and health & safety regulations
  • Carry out other duties as required to ensure the satisfactory completion of contracts and business goals

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Experience in NRSWA/TMA/EToN/Symology/Street Manager/TTRO applications essential
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including working from home
  • PC literate with strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Able to work in a high-turnover/fast-paced environment
  • Team player with proactive attitude

Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Monitor site practices to ensure compliance with legislation and company H&S policies
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with HSEQ Department to ensure personnel receive necessary courses
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are carried out, documented, and applied on site
  • Oversee welfare facilities, PPE provision, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure accurate recording and monitoring of all HSEQ records, including incidents, accidents, and equipment checks
  • Participate in audits, internal or client-led, to maintain a positive safety culture
  • Track cost and financial impact on P&L in relation to safety and quality issues
  • Engage with employees to ensure they understand their H&S responsibilities
