Project Manager –  Poling (UK)

Office/Field Based | Full-Time | Travel Required

Circet UK is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of fibre optic network build projects across the UK. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You’ll be the driving force behind project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination – helping us deliver best-in-class connectivity infrastructure at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of poling network build projects, ensuring all phases are executed effectively
• Coordinate internal delivery teams (OTLs, FLMs, admin) and external subcontractors to meet client KPIs and ARBD targets
• Drive field-based execution with regular on-site presence to support teams and ensure delivery excellence
• Manage project reporting, including updates on programme performance, RAID logs, and client dashboards
• Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding poling delivery and workstream updates
• Identify risks, constraints, or issues and work collaboratively to develop and implement mitigation strategies
• Monitor and drive productivity, quality assurance, and compliance with all client and company standards
• Champion a “Right First Time” culture across delivery teams and support a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction
• Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders, providing timely updates and managing expectations
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and audits to ensure high standards of work and health & safety compliance
• Support the development of Circet’s direct labour model for poling, improving efficiency and consistency in delivery


What You’ll Need
• Background in telecoms, fibre, or civil infrastructure environments in the UK
• Experience delivering projects to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
• Knowledge of BT/Openreach infrastructure and standards, particularly around poling and overhead networks
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) and reporting tools

Essential Qualifications & Certifications
• NRSWA Supervisor
• BT accreditations for overhead/poling work (desirable)
• IOSH / NEBOSH (desirable)
• First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Full UK Driving Licence
