Office-Based | Full-Time
Circet UK is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Control Manager to manage our finance and operations teams in managing project data, costs, and client invoicing. You’ll play an important role in ensuring accurate financial processes, supporting our field teams, and maintaining strong relationships across departments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure all members of the teams work stacks are up to date
- One 2 One meetings with members of the team monthly
- Ensuring Invoicing Targets are being met and everything done possible to achieve this
- Calling out invoicing issues and setting expectations when they arise
- Ensuring efficiency and accuracy from the team
- Training when new processes arise
- The ability to recognize when a member of the team need support and training through effective work stack management
- Managing Team Absences and holiday approvals
- Ensuring Core HR is updated to reflect time off
- Dealing with Sub Contractor escalations
- WIP Management across all Contracts North and South
- Ensuring all wages are processed in a timely manner
- Managing Works Stacks during absences ensuring adequate cover in place
- Liaising with Contract Directors when Contractors are not meeting their targets
- Support the Team on WIP calls to cleanse as much as possible
- Finding solutions not problems
- Run OB’s weekly
- Ensure Cost Auth is up-to-date
- Ensuring all reports are sent out in a timely manager
- Assisting with Work Stack Management
- Be able to delegate to Team Leaders to ensure maximum efficiency
- Hiring new employees
- Ensuring the team is right sized and manage this effectively
- Liaise with the Head of Finance control as and when required
What You’ll Need
Experience
- 2 years financial experience
- Leadership experience
Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and adaptable with a willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
