Circet Ireland are seeking an experienced Senior Civils Engineer an experienced Senior Civils/Site Engineer to work on our underground high-voltage (HV) cable projects and across Ireland.

Responsibilities of Senior Civil Engineer:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with company health & safety policy on all sites under control
- Ensuring accuracy in setting out all elements of works including structures, road alignments and service installations
- Compiling as-builts using AutoCAD & Civil 3d
- Coordinate design and work with designers to develop works designs
- Raising RFIs, MARs, NCRs, etc
- Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works
- Ensure Traffic Management arrangements are in accordance with the relevant traffic management plans
- Managing all aspects of the works on site on a daily basis
- Monitoring and recording progress on site and assisting in updating the works programme
- Management of material deliveries on site and checking quality of materials
- Supervising sub-contractors works on site
- Attend regular site meetings with construction team, design team and client
- Maintaining daily site records
- Working closely with the project manager in the delivery of roadworks and utility projects
Knowledge Requirements:
- Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience
- Knowledge of setting out equipment – Trimble GPS, robotic total station, levelling equipment
- Experience working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D an advantage
- Experience of roadworks and utility installations, particularly underground power
- Experience in quality control of engineering materials on site
- Ability to maintain high levels of health, safety & quality on site
- Ability to manage sub-contractors
- Knowledge of relevant roadworks specifications
- Good communication skills
- Good technical knowledge
